Art has always been my creative outlet. I've drawn and painted my whole life, but I firststarted getting serious about my art when I took a watercolor class at the Brookline Arts Center about 25 years ago. I still love watercolor and also paint in oil and acrylic, but much of my recent work has focused on creating monotypes. I was introduced to the technique about 15 years ago and was immediately hooked. Monotype printing is a process that produces one unique print at a time. The possibilities with the technique are endless and I learn something each time I do it. I love playing with composition and color and use the world around me as my inspiration.
Besides belonging to the Dedham Square Artist Guild, I also belong to the West Roxbury Art Association and the Monotype Guild of New England (www.MGNE.org).
